On the Day
Our first plan is to campaigning in 3 ATM's but unfortunately we didn't get permit from 2 banks so we just did the campaign in one ATM. We met many people and persuaded then to not print out their ATM receipt to save the environment. We succeeded to reduce the use of ATM receipt. Of 30 people only 8 among them who did the print. It was a success!!My First Voluntary Day
Today I went to a foundation's library to do my voluntary turn. This is my first day in this voluntary action. I met many children and accompanied them in library,play and draw with them and of course laugh with them.I really enjoy this and somehow I realized that I'm not the one who guide and teach them because to be honest I'm the one who learn many things from them! I really like it and gratefull to God for giving me this chance.
In Many Places
Yesterday I went to a store and after finishing my transaction I said thank you to her.On another occassion, I went to eat near my flat. I always say thank you to the servant after finishing my food.
It is a good thing to always say thank you to people who helped you. It means you appreciate what they do.
Shopping
Yesterday I went to shopping in a store near my Campus. I ask the cashier not to give me a plastic bag because I alredy brought my own bag. And then I put my goods in my bag. I feel happy because I already saving plastic bags.Never ask a plastic bag!!
Most of the time when I go to bookstore I always say no to take their plastic bag. I usually bring my own bag (school bag) and put all those books I bought in it. Well sometimes I must accept a plastic bag because I didn't bring my own bag but I hope if this already become my habit then one day I will always remember to bring my own bag when I want to go shopping or buy books.
